It's the final countdown!

Bek and I are about to embark on an adventure of a lifetime. We are about to fly off to Europe where we will spend a couple of months touring on our tandem bicycle.

In preparation we have:

• left work
• had a party
• packed off all our belongings to Australia (see below)
• had a garage sale
• sold the house
• sold the car
• prepared the tandem and equipment
• packed for the trip
• started a blog!

We are taking the opportunity to do our tour as part of our move back to Australia from the U.S.A. After several years in America it is time to head home, but after a lot of long days making preparations, I'm now starting to think we should have made the move and done the tour in different years.

It was the eve of our trip a few minutes ago, but now it is the day of our flight and we still haven't got to bed. So that I will stop for now to get some rest.
